My Motto is the motto of the School that is “with courage and faith, I do believe in education not in literacy. Education is the only vehicle without the reverse gear. Alexandra School, meant I that a unique endeavour -committed to making a difference in your children’s education, what is education for? Why do we build school and take much trouble to examine children? In what way have they learnt? The child goes to school to learn the true virtues of life like love for Humanity, thanking, reasoning and acting according to the situation. Education is the growth of human mind. A workman of ivory spends a long time in learning the skill of carving ivory. Educating a child is carving thoughts and feelings in his mind, It is great art to contact the heart of child and build character with lasting effect. To my mind, real education is to make a child live for others, always acting justly and kindly.
My proposed plan is to upgrade Alexandra School up to class 12th standard and further plan is to change the School into residential school. It promises to take the student away from the hubbub of the city.
To conclude, I, You, teachers and school might prove with zeal and courage to change the deserts into blooming gardens.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all students, teachers and parents to our School.
As Principal, I am highly impressed by the commitment of the management and the staff for providing excellent all-round education for our students in our state of the art facilities. “SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH DYNAMIC EDUCATION” the motto of our school says it all. “WITH COURAGE AND FAITH” As a team working together, we strongly promote academic achievement among our students. The cultural, sporting and other successes of all of our students and staff are also proudly celebrated together. Alexandra Secondary School Kupwara, an innovative & practical based school makes use of the talents and skills of staff, students and parents to provide a wide range of educational programmers and projects. Wholesome participation is encouraged in extra-curricular activities and care is also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every student in the school.
